Oktoberfest

When: October 3-5

Where: Festhalle Farmers Market, Cullman

Let’s kick things off with some German flair at Oktoberfest! Get ready for toe-tapping tunes, vibrant cultural displays, and, of course, delicious German grub. Bring your appetite and your dance moves—this celebration is sure to be a blast!


October Arts Festival

When: October 5 | 9 AM

Cost: FREE

Where: TGL Adventures, Huntsville

Unleash your inner Picasso at the October Arts Festival! It’s a day filled with creativity and community vibes. Expect local artists showcasing their work and interactive activities that’ll have you channeling your inner artist!


Madison Street Festival

When: October 5 | 9 AM - 4 PM

Cost: FREE

Where: Downtown Madison

Ready to soak up some local charm? The Madison Street Festival has it all! Enjoy arts and crafts, live entertainment, a parade, and a smorgasbord of food vendors. Plus, there’s a dedicated area for kids—let the little ones run wild while you indulge!


International Festival of North Alabama

Rocket City Scottish Festival

When: October 5 | 10 AM - 3 PM

Where: Jaycee Community Building, Huntsville

Grab your kilts and head over to the Rocket City Scottish Festival! Enjoy Highland Games, food trucks, and plenty of vendors serving up all things Scottish. Get ready to embrace your inner Scot!


Alabama Honey Festival

When: October 6 | 1 PM - 5 PM

Where: Alabama A&M University WTARS, Hazelgreen

Buzz on over to the Alabama Honey Festival! This year’s theme is “Sustainable agriculture and honeybees,” so come ready to learn, taste, and celebrate the sweet stuff. Trust us, it’ll be un-bee-lievable!


Bluegrass & BBQ Festival

When: October 12 | 1 PM - 7 PM

Where: Southside Park, Huntsville

Who doesn’t love a good BBQ? Grab your picnic blanket and get ready for an afternoon of toe-tapping bluegrass music and scrumptious BBQ from local food trucks. It’s a match made in heaven!


Celebrate Madison

Where: Toyota Field, Madison

Come one, come all! Celebrate the amazing city of Madison with Mayor Paul Finley’s program followed by a fireworks show that’ll light up the night sky. Don’t miss out on the fun!


Fall Festival at University Pickers

When: October 26 | 10 AM - 5 PM

Where: University Pickers, Huntsville

Get ready for a fabulous family day at the Fall Festival! Expect fun, food, and a fantastic community spirit that’ll warm your heart. Bring the whole gang!


VFC Harvest Festival

When: October 26 | 11 AM - 2 PM

Where: Valley Fellowship Church, Huntsville

Toyota Field Fall Festival

Fall Festival

Where: Landmark Church, Huntsville

Don’t miss this family-friendly carnival-style fall festival! With games, food, and tons of fun, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season.


Fredricks Outdoor’s Spook the Park

When: October 27 | 7 PM

Where: Fredricks Outdoor

Join for a family-friendly Halloween festival featuring trick-or-treating, fireworks by Pyro Patriot, hayrides, inflatables, food trucks, and MORE! It’s going to be a spooktacular time!


Trunk-or-Treat

When: October 30 | 6 PM - 7:30 PM

Cost: FREE

Where: Hartselle (parking info coming soon!)

Join the FREE Annual Community Trunk-or-Treat! Enjoy candy, grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, and inflatables (play at your own risk). It’s a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween!
