Downtown Food Truck Rallies | May - Oct 2024

The much-loved Food Truck Rallies are back in Big Spring Park! Gather your friends, family, or even your furry companions, and head downtown to savor mouthwatering delights from various food trucks. Enjoy live music, yard games, and plenty of activities from 5-9 PM every third Friday, from May to October. Don't forget to bring a chair or blanket for a comfortable evening under the stars. NASA in the Park | June 22, 2024

For the first time since 2018, NASA in the Park returns, promising a day filled with education and excitement. Presented by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, this free event features over 80 exhibits and demonstrations, hands-on activities, yard games, musical performances, and food vendors. It's a perfect blend of learning and fun for all ages! Join us on June 22 from 10 AM - 2 PM in Big Spring Park East for a day to remember.


Rocket to the Tropics | May 30, 2024

Celebrate the anniversary of Miss Baker's space flight with a tropical twist at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center! Included with admission, enjoy tropical-themed food, banana-based desserts, and a Jimmy Buffet-themed band. Family activities abound, along with a special excerpt from the play "Space Monkeys: The Adventures of Baker and Able" by the Fantasy Playhouse.
